At OSI, our community involvement reflects our company mission to improve the quality of life for people with cancer and diabetes/obesity. We accomplish this goal in a variety of ways, including offering (OSI) Oncology funding to organizations that share our mutual scientific, educational and patient support goals.

Our Community Relations mission is to be a “Neighbor of Choice.” We strive to accomplish this goal by developing partnerships with non-profit organizations focused on cancer and diabetes/obesity, educational institutions in the area of science/biotechnology, and local industry associations that meet the needs of our corporate, community and employee goals.

OSI employees also share a personal commitment in the fight against cancer and diabetes/obesity that goes beyond their jobs. Our employees volunteer their time with local cancer and diabetes-related organizations, participate in charity fund-raising and athletic events, and help spread science education by working with students of all ages (Kindergarten through Grade 12 as well as college/university students). OSI offers many volunteer possibilities to meet individual volunteer preferences, and we encourage our employees to get involved in community activities.
