Research Reagents Program

The Research Reagents Program provides erlotinib (marketed in tablet form as Tarceva®) to non-clinical researchers to further evaluate mechanism-of-action, combinations with other agents, and potential new indications.

Investigators may request erlotinib by completing the Material Request Form, and sending it with a cover letter to materialrequest@osip.com.

Requests are considered on the basis of scientific merit and reagent availability, among other factors. Once your request has been reviewed, OSI will inform you of the decision on the proposed research. If approved, a Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) will be negotiated with your institution prior to the transfer of the OSI clinical reagent.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • This program is not for human protocol or clinical use.
  • Response time from receipt of proposal may take 6-8 weeks.

EMT

Our research organization is focused on the discovery of novel small molecule compounds targeted against the underlying molecular mechanisms of the pathogenesis of cancer. Our strategy is to develop mechanism-based approaches to drug discovery directed at the processes underlying the role of the Epithelial Mesenchymal Transition (EMT) in the development of cancer.
